This whole-day workshop will focus on understanding the types of performance data required to monitor school improvement and set Annual Planning Growth Targets. This PD will suit anyone who is currently using or thinking of using the SPA software.

In this workshop we will address learning intentions, success criteria, how to designing effective assessments and how to use SPAmarkbook to manage your diagnostic assessment analysis.

This whole-day workshop is aimed at teaching participants to read and interpret assessment data with confidence. Ensuring that you understand key statistical vocabulary and concepts, so you can confidently decipher the complexities of interpreting your own school’s data.

Focus on how to use SPAstandard & SPAtracker to understand your NAPLAN data to monitor both school and student progress and how the data can be used to drive school improvement. The session will focus on identifying school and cohort curriculum strengths and weaknesses and time will be provided for you to view and interpret your own school data with support from Philip Holmes-Smith & Emma MacNamara.
